RETREATs

We plan and hold an accommodation-type
“Therapeutic Hot Spring Retreat” program by customizing various activity experiences while listening to the wishes of the participants.

Get away from the busy daily life environment such as work, family, and relationships, and have time for yourself.

Take time to face yourself and actively create time to relax from the bottom of your heart.

By incorporating yoga at that time and adjusting the autonomic nervous system, we will help you lead to a more relaxing environment.

Starting with the local cuisine of the village that has been handed down from generation to generation by mothers and grandmothers,
we appreciate the seasonal blessings of the mountains that have been eaten in this village for at least 4,500 years.

MY STORY

I have lived and worked for companies in Tokyo for about 12 years.

However, almost every weekend I would go back to my home village, Nozawa Onsen Village, to help my parents run their accommodation.

During the 12 years I traveled back and forth between Tokyo and the village, every time I returned from the village to a company in Tokyo,
my colleagues and superiors would often tell me,
“When you come back from your village, you are really lively and full of energy.”

On weekdays, I used to go to the gym to exercise, and that’s when I discovered yoga.
By doing yoga every day, I remember feeling refreshed in my body and mind.
When I was moving my body comfortably, I suddenly became able to move according to the instructor’s instructions.
I started to have the desire to learn more.
I searched for various things, discovered the experience of yoga teacher qualification, and participated.
I still remember how empowered I felt in my body with the guidance of a good teacher and wanted to provide that experience for others.

Then I learned the word “RETREATs” seven years ago while attending a yoga teacher training.
Before I knew it, I realized that I had been experiencing a retreat
by going back and forth between two completely different environments,
Tokyo, where I worked, and Nozawa Onsen Village, which is full of nature’s blessings.
Based on this experience, I felt that the village where I was born and raised,
which is rich in nature and has good access from Tokyo, is a perfect place to host “retreats.”

I qualified RYT-200 in 2015, and I completed a further 300 hours of teacher training
and acquired the RYT-500 Instructor qualification to deepen my learning in 2016.

In the summer of 2016, we were able to plan and hold the “Nozawa Onsen Village Retreat” for the first time in Nozawa history,
which is the time I started planting the seeds
and shedding a new wind in the village for “YOGA” which the village is beginning to develop and promote in new tourist materials.

It started there and continues to the present day.

In 2021, I was certified as a Forest Therapy® Guide,
and I will deepen my knowledge of becoming a Forest Therapist® in 2022`.

Thanks to all of you, there are now more people from Japan and overseas who find me on Instagram and Facebook and visit this small village.

I appreciate and thank all of you for your interest.
I will devote myself every day and leave to the next generation what I have learned.
