Autumn Forest Therapy®

Colorful leaves (紅葉, kōyō) are to the Japanese autumn what cherry blossoms are to spring.

When the trees drop their leaves, they are preparing to go dormant to survive the winter.

We will walk on a carpet of fallen leaves beneath the soles of our feet and enjoy the spectacular autumn colors

The nuts and mushrooms that dot the paths are also cute autumn accessories.

Let’s enjoy the sights, sounds, and smells of the leaves returning to the earth.
